How much does dog walking or pet sitting cost in Springfield or Sedalia?
Funky Bunch Pet Care visits start at $25 for a 20-minute potty break and range up to $52 for a 60-minute enrichment walk or pet sitting visit. Adventure Hikes start at $75. Cat sitting visits follow the same 30/45/60-minute structure starting at $32. There is a $32 new client meeting fee for the initial meet and greet, and a $5 holiday fee applies on major holidays. Poop scooping starts at $30.
What is included in the new client meeting?
The new client meeting is a $32 in-home visit where we go over your pet's routine, conduct a personality and behavior assessment, and walk through the practical details of your home — where food, leashes, litter, and supplies are kept. It's how we make sure the very first visit goes smoothly. Any additional meetings after that are charged at the standard 30-minute visit rate.
Why do you charge more than other pet sitters in the area?
Because what we offer isn't what most pet sitters offer. Every visit is handled by a W-2 employee — not a contractor or an app-matched stranger — on a Fear Free certified, Pet First Aid and CPR trained team with over a decade of experience. We carry professional insurance, maintain backup systems so visits never get missed, and send detailed photo updates after every single visit. The price reflects the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind that comes with it.
Do you charge extra for multiple pets or holidays?
Yes, on both. Base pricing covers up to four pets (except the 20-minute potty break, which is for single-dog households). Any additional pets beyond four are charged a $5 per-visit fee. On recognized holidays — including Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day — there is an additional $5 per visit.
Do you offer services beyond what's listed on the pricing page?
Yes. We also help with things like medication administration, exotic pet care, pet taxi, trash and mail handling, plant watering, and home security checks — all as part of a customized care plan. If your pet has specific needs that don't fit neatly into a standard visit, reach out and we'll work out what makes sense.
